The tables for the Chester and Flintshire Leagues as of the end of January have been added to the website.

Dec 23rd Flintshire League Tables

The tables for the Flintshire League as of December 23rd have been added to the website.

Our second-string team has been drawn against Rossett in the second round of the NEWBA cup, and will play them at home on Friday January 7th at 7pm prompt

December 13th Chester League Tables

The latest tables for Chester Badminton League – as of December 13th – have just been released by Colin and added to this website.

Buckley’s Chester captain has again struggled to gather a full ladies complement for many matches, as you can perhaps tell from the team’s position in the tables!

So, if you’re a decent player and want to help out, please get in touch!

Dec 5th Flintshire League Tables

The tables for the Flintshire League as of December 5th have been added to the website. Use the Tables link in the menu to see them.

Despite the loss of Caren, our own team is hanging on to a decent place in the table following promotion as champions from Division 2 last year.

Meanwhile, our second-string team had an excellent win over Llanferres in the first round of the NEWBA cup and is now awaiting the second round draw with some trepidation!

Our own team has made a good start to the season following promotion from Division 2 last year, but the loss of Caren following her operation is a big blow.

Final Flintshire Badminton League Tables

The FINAL tables for Flintshire Badminton League have been added to the website. Use the Tables link in the menu to see them.

Buckley only just managed to hang on to top spot in Division 2, despite an incredibly strong challenge from Holywell A in the second half of the season. The two teams ended up level on Points, and level on Events for & against. It was only Buckley’s better difference of Games won & lost which made them Champions!

Flintshire Badminton League Tables updated

The latest tables for Flintshire Badminton League have been added to the website. Use the Tables link in the menu to see them.

Buckley continues to hang on to top spot in Division 2, despite drawing with Holywell A away (and, just this week, at home also).

With just over half the season gone, it still looks as if any of the current top four could win the league though!

Sadly, Buckley’s Chester captain has continued to struggle to assemble anything like a full team for most matches, and this is reflected by the team’s results and lowly position in the table.
