Badminton-Festival-posterA 16-25 Badminton Festival will be held at the University Of Chester on Saturday 19th March 2011.  The  Festival was the original idea of the North West Youth Forum members.

The forum was originally put together to help BADMINTON England understand exactly what young  people want and what would  motivate and inspire them to play more badminton. The forum members felt a competition like this would encourage more young people to try the sport and become regular players.

Format for the day:

  • 10am-11am: Badminton England coaching session – a chance to meet and play with an England squad player
  • 11.15am-1pm: Fun, social tournament following on from the coached session
  • 1.30pm-5.30pm: Competitive  men’s and ladies’ doubles tournament

Entry fee: £3 per player

Closing date for entries: Friday 4th March 2011

So what are you waiting for? Download the Badminton Festival entry form (518kB Acrobat PDF) and return it before the closing date to book yourself a place.
